Together, they opened A Total Approach in September 2001. Maude is SIPT certified and specializes in Sensory Integration services as it applies to functional activities of daily living, . She also holds a certificate in DIR®/Floortime™, and is a certified Cellfield Intervention provider. She is also a certified Tomatis Consultant. Maude has presented her Tomatis work in Dublin, Greece, France and Panama. Janar graduated with a diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2011 and subsequently completed his degree with SIT-TCD in 2015. He is also trained in Dry Needling and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) by Osteon Manual Therapy (OMT).
Janar’s professional experience includes working in a Nursing home home where he was the therapist-in-charge overseeing the day to day running of the rehabilitation department in 2 of its branches. He has also worked in a private physiotherapy clinic where he was responsible for the treatment of patients with mainly musculoskeletal conditions. The physiotherapy clinic is the service provider for Thomson Medical Centre (TMC), where he attended to primarily paediatric patients for chest physiotherapy.
Janar believes that other than sound theoretical knowledge, compassion, proper patient education and good patient-therapist rapport are integral to a successful treatment program. Janar’s strong interest in physical fitness is also a great advantage to his profession as it helps him to relate better with his patients/clients. He is also able to provide fitness training, education and consultancy work.

Guo Hua graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a diploma in Occupational Therapy in 2011 and has obtained Master of Science, Occupational Therapy from Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh) in 2014. He took part in a research paper titled “Normative Data of the Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration of Pre-schoolers in Singapore”, which was presented at the Asia-Pacific Occupational Therapy Conference 2011. In 2014, the research paper has been published in an international peer reviewed journal, Child, Care, Health and Development. This research was carried out in various preschools and provided a useful normative data for clinicians to assess children’s visual motor abilities.

Shiva graduated from University at Buffalo in 2013, with a Bachelor’s in Communication. Having worked with Singapore Brain Development Centre for the past 3 years, she has been exposed invariably to work with children of different types of special needs. She loves the challenges that comes with training children with different spectrum of disorders as well as giving constructive advice to their parents.
Shiva has a keen interest in literacy and speech difficulties. Recently, she developed an English Language Literacy programme for children with Phonological difficulties and language difficulties. This programme follows a pragmatic approach and helps children in our centre to express themselves both in written and verbal forms.
Shiva’s experience in consultancy focuses on observing and analysing clients, giving constructive feedbacks and organising a profile for them. She also specialises in working with children’s speech difficulties through PROMPT methodology.
Shiva is an apprentice Wine Sommelier and food hedonist. During her spare time, she enjoys going for wine tasting and exploring different cuisines.

Kimberly graduated from HELP University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has since worked with Singapore Brain Development Centre as a Cognitive Therapist.
Prior to her work with us, she taught Fine Arts to a diverse group of elementary school children at the Classical Art Centre in Malaysia. Her love for children transcends into the dedication she puts into her training. She incorporates art and craft into therapy for children with emotional regulation troubles.
Kimberly is currently the head of the Training department, where she spearheads the group of therapists in training, mentoring, and also monitoring their students’ progress in therapy.
She is an art enthusiast and a passionate gastronomy.

Denise graduated from University of Sussex in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her honours Bachelor Thesis focused on deception detection in interviews, which involves the analysis of verbal production and language style matching. During the course of her study, Denise developed an inquisitiveness on how children with special needs and learning difficulties communicate and respond to therapies.
Denise leads the Early Intervention Programme in Singapore Brain Development Centre along with our Speech therapist and Occupational therapist. Most of her work in this programme encompasses sensory integration and play therapy along with the incorporation of nursery rhymes, rhythm, and dance movements for toddlers.
Denise tackles challenges skilfully and is highly motivated by the progress of the children. Most of her work at Singapore Brain Development Centre consist of play and cognitive therapy. As a dynamic individual, Denise also plays an integral part in equipment and safety management in our sensory gym.
She is a gym enthusiast and an avid novel reader.

Farah graduated from Nanyang Technological University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies. Her honours Bachelor Thesis paper focused on the speech perception of sounds in the Korean phonological system by Chinese and Malay speakers in Singapore as well as its implications on language development as well as acquisition of second language.
During the completion of her thesis, she developed a high interest in the aspect of language acquisition as well as language and communication disorders. This resulted in her pursuing a career with us where she can work with children who have difficulties in language skills.
Farah coaches the children in Singapore Brain Development centre to develop and strengthen their language skills. She adopts an immensely motivating approach by helping them cultivate the love of language through effective and fun training methods.
She likes to travel and learn new languages. Farah is fluent in conversational Korean. And as an avid cyclist, she can be seen cycling in East Coast Park during her free time.

Delia graduated from James Cook University Singapore in 2017 with a Bachelors of Psychology (Honours).
Delia enjoys interacting and working with children. Her passion for working with children led her to join the Singapore Brain Development Centre as a Cognitive Therapist, where she hopes to aid in the holistic development of children.
Delia enjoys experimenting with vegan baking recipes. She also frequents the gym and is a freelance fitness instructor who conducts group exercise classes in gyms.

Namira graduated from University of Northampton in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Counselling. Her Honours thesis focused on the relationship between stress, self-esteem and achievement motivation and how it affects the different genders of adults working in Singapore through focusing on Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem, Ray’s Achievement Motivation and Cohen’s Perceived Stress scales of measurements.
Prior to working in Singapore Brain Development Centre, Namira gained experience through working with children of various ages through the art of roleplaying, which sparked her interest and passion in children. She has also grown to develop a fascination in Early Intervention as she strongly believes in the benefits that it brings to the development of a child in their early years. Hence, Namira began her journey with Singapore Brain Development Centre assisting in the Early Intervention Programme, before beginning her journey as a Cognitive Therapist.
Namira is also known to be an outgoing and sociable person by her peers, alongside her cheerful and optimistic personality.
