01
Clinical Massage
Clinical Massage is employed for the management of musculoskeletal conditions/sports injuries such as low back pain, knee pain, repetitive strain injury (RSI), golfer’s/tennis elbow, muscle strain etc. Clinical massage works best when used in conjunction with exercise therapy, lifestyle modifications and good body awareness.
02
Sports Massage
The aim of sports is to improve athletic performance by releasing tight muscle knots and scar tissues. Sports massage could also be helpful in the reduction/prevention of delayed onset of muscle soreness (DOMS) that is prevalent the day after an intense sports activity. Sports massage usually includes application of oil and deep strokes to work deeper into the muscle fibres. Stretching is also employed during a sports massage session to aid in reduction of muscle tightness.
03
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is ideal for relief from tight, achy or sore muscles. Muscles that could have been tightened as a result of previous injuries can also be worked on during a deep tissue massage. Deep Tissue Massage also works well as a form of stress relief for some people.
